Principal's Message - March 19, 2020

    March 19, 2020

    Dear Students,

I want to reach out to let you know that our staff has been working extremely hard to prepare for an online transition due to recent school closures. We miss you all tremendously, and realize that there are many challenges that come with this new reality. We are committed to doing everything possible to show our support. Breakfast and lunch “grab and gos” can be easily picked up from 10 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.

Many of you have already been making connections with teachers via TEAMS by using your district student email. For those students who have not connected, do not worry at this time. We have used much of this week to prepare and train teachers on the online platform we will be using. Students will not be asked to work on any new material unless you are taking an edgenuity class. That means you should be catching up on grades and learning. We are working hard to get everyone access to devices and information regarding distribution will come soon.

Seniors, my heart breaks for you, and I know this cannot be easy. I know you will be missing out on some big events and like all students, you are missing out on clubs and sports right now. I urge you to not give up on your education. You have an opportunity to show your teachers you want to finish strong, despite these challenging times. I believe you can get through this. I believe that a diploma and your post-secondary goals are still attainable for all. We all have obstacles to overcome, and I know this is a big one, but you must not give up. I believe in each and every one of you.

On the link below, you will find a list of counselors, student support services and off campus supports. We care about your well-being and will continue to show you love even from afar.

Stay Strong. Stay Safe. Stay Informed at
